HARRISBURG – Rep. Valerie Gaydos (R-Allegheny) was officially sworn into office today, marking the beginning of her first term representing the 44th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

“I am very grateful to the good people of the 44th Legislative District for electing me to serve as their new voice in Harrisburg,” said Gaydos. “As an avid defender of the Constitution and personal freedoms, I am eager to work across the aisle to strengthen Pennsylvania’s communities and to protect and defend hard-working citizens from government overreach. I pledge to fight for reforms to set our state on sounder financial footing and which at the same time advance the growth of vibrant communities.

“As a business founder and investor, I have worked with a number of companies in and around this Commonwealth and have seen firsthand the types of business climates that are most attractive to investors, entrepreneurs and citizens. I am committed to fighting for policies that attract new jobs to Pennsylvania and for educational initiatives that prepare our students for their future.”
