2025-26 Session Officially Underway
I am excited and honored to share I was sworn in to begin my fourth term as your representative in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, serving the 44th Legislative District. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to you for your continued trust and support. Being your voice in Harrisburg is a privilege I do not take lightly, and I am committed to building upon the progress we’ve made together over the years.
Looking back at the last legislative session, I am proud of the work we accomplished for our community and state. One of the most significant achievements was my legislation that was signed into law by Gov. Josh Shapiro. Act 77 of 2024 addresses critical issues within the pharmaceutical industry and provides important protections for independent pharmacies and their customers. It's a great example of how we can work together to solve real-world problems, and I am so proud to have played a part in bringing this initiative to fruition.
In addition, I introduced House Bill 589, which would aim to establish an insurance program for homeowners in landslide-prone areas. During the previous session, the legislation passed through the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee. However, it must be reintroduced this session in order for the bill to move forward. This legislation would provide important protections for those living in vulnerable areas.
These legislative milestones are just a few examples of my ongoing commitment to tackling the issues that matter most to Pennsylvanians. Together, we can create opportunities, improve lives and build a brighter future for everyone in our district and across the Commonwealth.
This term, I am also excited to announce I have been assigned to serve on several important committees. I will be a member of the House Liquor Control, Commerce, Finance, and Professional Licensure committees. In addition, I will again be serving as Republican secretary of the Liquor Control Committee. I have also been appointed to the newly formed House Communications and Technology Committee, which will be essential as we work to navigate the evolving challenges of our digital age. Additionally, I will continue to serve as the chair of the House Life Sciences Caucus, and I’m proud to be a member of both the House Cancer Caucus and the House Cyber Security Caucus.
The work ahead will be challenging, but I am optimistic about what we can achieve together. Please know I am here to listen, advocate and work hard on your behalf. If you ever have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. I am always eager to hear from you and to ensure that your voice is heard in Harrisburg.
Thank you, once again, for the honor of serving you. Let’s continue making progress!
